When be asked what is Truss? the first thing that catches your attention is the word TRUSS itself. When the word TRUSS was introduced to the entertainment business 40 years ago, almost everyone defined it like this:

A modular structural unit consisting of welded aluminum tubes. In entertainment, assembled into temporary overhead structures to hang and support lifting equipment, speakers, and similar items.

At that time, everything involved was used for that purpose, from the different round steel bars to the mast. TRUSS is, in our words, similar to a wooden structural frame and is used to build the roofs of houses, warehouses, medieval cathedrals and so on.

Indoor concertgoers may also see them over their heads due to the design of the interior room.
